Kolibri Sustainability Actions

Issued inaugural sustainability report

Kolibri Global Energy Inc. announced that it has released its first Sustainability Report, which provides relevant information about our sustainability / Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) initiatives, practices, and related key performance indicators.

Aligned reporting with ESG frameworks

In the creation of this document, we considered various frameworks, including the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board’s (“SASB”) Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Sustainability Accounting Standard, the Global Sustainability Standards Board’s Global Reporting Initiative (“GRI”) and associated Oil & Gas Sector Standards, and guidance from other industry frameworks and the various ESG ratings agencies, as appropriate.

Reduced operational environmental impact

Our focus on minimizing our operational impact is multifaceted, including seeking to reduce air emissions, prevent spills, and safeguard local water supplies, as well as utilizing advanced drilling, completion, and operations technologies.

Maintained governance documents

We maintain a corporate governance section on our website that includes the charters for the committees of our Board, as well as copies of our Corporate Social Responsibility Policy, Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, latest proxy and other relevant governance documents.

Measured carbon and circularity

We accompanied Ben & Frank on a integrated diagnosis that combines carbon and circularity strategies. To determine the Circularity Indicators the international methodology ISO/FDIS 59020 was used, focusing on the axes of packaging, points of sale and distribution, as well as on waste from both operations and post-consumption. In addition, we carry out the measurement of the carbon footprint using the international methodology World Resources Institute (WRI) GHG Protocol, developing an associated carbon strategy to reduce its environmental impact and promote sustainable practices throughout its value chain.

Kolibri works at the intersection of policy, finance, and innovation to enable more integrated and future-ready urban services. We support national and regional stakeholders in aligning water, sanitation, and solid waste management with long-term development goals.

Built ESG systems for portfolios

Kolibri supported a multi-country circular economy portfolio by strengthening how environmental and social performance is integrated, monitored, and managed across diverse implementation partners. We built portfolio-level ESG and reporting systems that help track sustainability outcomes, risks, and program effectiveness in a more consistent and comparable way.
