Lâcher Prise Sustainability Actions

Supply chain disclosure

At Lâcher Prise, we disclose as much information as we can on our supply chain traceability from our fabric suppliers to our manufacturer. We have nothing to hide and promise to publicly release new partnerships and take accountability for our environmental and social impact.

Planted trees per purchase

For each purchase, we plant at least 2 trees. In this way, we not only give back to nature what it’s been given to us, but we also offset all carbon emissions created during production and order shipment.

Uses certified fibers

Lâcher Prise only works with certified sustainable fibers such as Lenzing and GOTS, assuring that no hazardous chemicals, nor water waste were used at any stage of our production line.

Uses deadstock materials

We source a lot of our materials from local mills and ethical manufacturers. By using their leftover deadstock, we eliminate the need to spin new fibers, reducing landfill waste and the impact on our forests.

Fair wage suppliers

We are proud to say that all of our suppliers provide their employees with a fair living wage, equal pay, and good working conditions. They recognize their employees as craftsmen and treat them with dignity and respect.

Take-back program

We would like to introduce you to our take-back program where you have the possibility of sending your unwanted Lâcher Prise pieces back to us at the end of use (after at least 3 years) in exchange we will give you a 30% discount on the same product you wish to repurchase new.

Reuse and recycle sorting

We responsibly sort out and divide them into three categories: Rewear: Lâcher Prise 2nd Life: clothes that can be worn again will be sold as second-hand pieces after being professionally cleaned, Reuse: old and damaged clothes will be turned into other products, such as cleaning clothes, doll’s clothes and patchwork artisanal pieces. Recycle: everything else is turned into textile fibers and used for things like insulation.

Compostable packaging

Every order comes in a reusable organic cotton gift pouch, wrapped in 100% recycled poly mailer packaging, which we source from EcoEnclose. ... TIPA packaging is made in Germany and certified ‘home compostable’.
