Since we opened our doors, Lefty’s has been dedicated to supporting our local community. Lefty’s says YES! to those in need of our help: our friends and neighbors… from local schools and students, to our local libraries, to our community of elders and our local churches and religious groups, to local agriculture groups and food distribution groups, and events and organizers who support farm workers and our local heritage.

Asoagrotol Galilea Cooperative organizes courses and training to develop barista skills, quality control and business management. In a region where job availability outside of coffee farming is very limited, providing new opportunities for work is essential to draw young people away from becoming involved in an endless cycle of criminality and violence.
