Shared views on sustainable development

Ever since I started my professional journey into sustainable development I’ve been somewhat frustrated, felt unmet, uninspired even, by the limitations of its concepts, how it is applied, the frameworks constructed around it, the politics and the legal frameworks. Not addressing the root problem, not creating the potential impact.

Called for leadership and trust

I crave leadership that doesn’t leave a stone unturned and has the capacity to face the mess we have created together, removing the veils of deception so we can see the current state of the world as it is. Leadership that commits to building human systems of trust and reciprocity in harmony with nature.

Explored storytelling in development

In our latest blog, we build on that conversation to explore how storytelling helps shift development from short-term projects to sustainable systems. We look at how stories reveal why change works or doesn’t, why sustainability depends on relationships and local ownership, and how learning and accountability can evolve beyond project cycles.

Published an impact report

Like most for purpose organisations we are always looking to interrogate our impact, and how we communicate this beyond numbers. This is all the more challenging for a foundation that facilitates others to be out creating change for those who need it most - is any of this impact ‘ours’? Here’s our first go at writing an impact report.
