Uses some organic cotton

Good On You says the brand uses some eco-friendlier materials, including organic cotton. Organic cotton is grown without the same synthetic pesticides and fertilisers used in conventional cotton. This can lower some farming impacts, but it does not by itself prove the whole product is low-impact. The rating site still found no public evidence that the brand has made strong progress on emissions, water use, or hazardous chemicals.

Traces part of supply chain

Good On You reports that the brand traces some of its supply chain. Supply chain tracing means a company can identify at least some of the factories or suppliers involved in making its products. That is a useful first step for checking labour and environmental risks. However, the same assessment says there is no public evidence of a full code of conduct, living wage action, or safety reporting.

Avoids some animal materials

The brand’s animal rating is better than its people and planet scores because it does not use fur, down, exotic animal skin, exotic animal hair, or angora. Good On You still notes that the brand uses leather and wool. That means it has reduced some high-concern animal materials, but it has not moved away from all animal-derived inputs.
