Lyka Pet Food presents itself as a sustainability-focused pet food company and says it is Australia’s only carbon negative dog food. Its sustainability page states that it is a certified B Corporation and that it is committed to the ongoing and transparent assessment, measurement, improvement and reporting of its social and environmental impacts. The company says it has reduced single-use plastics, installed solar panels at its Sydney kitchen, sources at least 85% local Australian produce from sustainable producers, and offsets emissions it cannot reduce through tree planting with Greenfleet. It also highlights food waste reduction, portion-controlled meals, and lower-emission cooking and sourcing practices.
