ESG strategy and targets

G+D says its sustainability strategy is based on the ESG criteria - the three pillars of environment, social, and governance. It has identified its core action areas within these three pillars and set itself specific targets - for example, for climate protection or lifelong learning - in order to operate in an increasingly sustainable manner.

ESG Committee established

The ESG Committee, established in 2022, and the Corporate Sustainability department set the course for G+D's activities and report directly to the Group CDO.

Climate and resource measures

G+D bundles its commitment to climate and environmental protection and the conservation of resources. This includes the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions at its sites, as well as the more resource-efficient design of its product portfolio.

In the area of governance, G+D says it ensures responsible and sustainable corporate management. Topics include digital responsibility, data protection, sustainable supply chains and the integrity of daily actions.
