Nona Source Sustainability Actions

Launched online resale platform

Launched in 2021, Nona Source is the first online resale platform for “re-sourcing” exceptional materials from the Group’s Fashion & Leather Goods Maisons. It offers emerging creatives and brands in Europe access to high-quality fabrics and leathers at competitive prices to encourage creative re-use of materials.

Re-used deadstock materials

The platform was designed to re-use deadstocks, the “sleeping beauties” stored in the warehouses of exclusive LVMH Fashion & Leather Goods Houses. All materials are carefully selected and re-valued at competitive prices.

Supported circular economy

Nona Source supports LVMH’s environmental strategy by rethinking sourcing and supporting the circular economy. It is described as a concrete solution to address the challenges and opportunities of circularity, a key pillar of LVMH’s environmental strategy articulated in the LIFE 360 program.

Favouring local distribution

Developed with a sustainable vision, Nona Source favors local distribution. Because stocks are located in France, the platform delivers within Europe, including the United Kingdom.

Expanded surplus leather offer

For its third anniversary in 2024, Nona Source announced a leather offer including an exclusive selection of high-quality surplus hides, sourced from LVMH Houses and from renowned tanneries with exceptional craftsmanship.

Added recycled denim

Nona Source added raw recycled denim MTR by the startup Weturn to its catalog, addressing the ecological challenges of conventional denim production and reducing water and cotton consumption.

Opened to outside luxury brands

For the first time, Nona Source is opening up its platform to luxury brands outside the LVMH group to revalue surplus fabrics from their old collections. Maisons Chloé and Lanvin are among the first to place their trust in Nona Source.
