Oxbow is now a certified B Corp. Concretely, this means that Oxbow is a company that meets high standards of social and environmental performance, legal responsibility, and transparency. A company committed to being beneficial to all stakeholders: employees, customers, the community, and the environment.

Beach clean-ups

Two to three times a year, Oxbow organises a beach clean-up on the Côte Girondine. The headquarters is completely shut down for either a day or half-day. The company collects on average 100-150 kg of plastic waste over the course of the day and uses plant-based collection bags to minimise excess waste. A bus is hired for the day so as to limit carbon footprint and the use of individual vehicles.

Selective sorting at HQ

Selective sorting was implemented at the company’s headquarters in partnership with Elise Atlantique. Oxbow recycles office waste as well as plastics, glass, masks and the plastic bags used to transport its collections.

Donations and recycling

Oxbow has consistently engaged with its community by supporting organisations that assist people in integrating into the workplace. Among these are La Cravate Solidaire, or the foster home AOGPE, to whom Oxbow regularly donates several hundred textile products each season.

Removed conventional polyester

Oxbow has removed conventional polyester from its range of board shorts. 100% of its Summer 2022 season boardshorts range are made from REPREVE® recycled polyester.
