Launched in April 2021

Play It Green launched to the public in April 2021. Within the first three years, Play It Green helped thousands of people and hundreds of businesses reduce their emissions, planted over half a million trees, and provided vital funds to 35 different charities.

Achieved B Corp status

In April 2023, Play It Green proudly achieved B Corp status with one of the highest governance scores globally among certified companies. Its overall score of 106.6 places it in the top 10% of newly registered B Corps in the UK.

Published open accounts

Play It Green says it publishes open accounts, all its tree purchase receipts and regular reports, as it aims to be the most open and transparent limited company in the world.

Donates 10% to good causes

Play It Green’s three-step solution includes regiving to society by donating 10% of every subscription and tree purchase to a good cause which the customer gets to choose.

Planted trees monthly

Play It Green says members’ subscriptions support monthly tree planting, and that all its trees are guaranteed to be planted with its partner Eden Reforestation.

Supports climate education

By joining Play It Green, members receive weekly tips, discounts, news and education on sustainability. The company also provides net zero tools, templates, policies and plans through its members’ platform.
