Raised Series A funding

On 12 January 2022, Xurya announced series A funding of US$ 21.5 million, led by East Ventures (Growth fund) and PT Saratoga Investama Sedaya Tbk., with participation from Schneider Electric and New Energy Nexus Indonesia. Xurya said it would allocate the funding to continue the construction of Rooftop Solar Power Plant, and for the development of technology and human resources to accelerate the clean energy transition.

Operated 57 rooftop solar plants

By the end of 2021, Xurya had operated 57 Rooftop Solar Power Plants and was building in 38 other locations across Jakarta, Banten, West Java, East Java, Central Java, Lampung, South and North Sumatera, and South Sulawesi.

Installed solar systems for businesses

As of March 2024, Xurya said it had helped more than 100 businesses in Indonesia to install solar systems. It reported 179 operational PLTS sites, 171 million kWh of green energy annually, and a reduction of 153 million kg CO2 per year.

Signed MoU with Suryacipta

In 2021, Suryacipta signed an MoU with PT Xurya Daya Indonesia. Suryacipta and Xurya started their collaboration in 2022 by installing Solar PV within Suryacipta City of Industry, Karawang, including the office building area The Manor, the commercial area The Promenade, Water Treatment Plant and Suryacipta’s Vocational School.

MoU with FKS Group

On July 11, 2024, FKS Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding with PT Xurya Daya Indonesia for the second phase of solar panel installation across seven locations. The first phase of the initiative began in 2022 at one of FKS Group’s facilities in Medan.
