Emissions fell in 2024

In 2024, Reima's own operations’ so-called Scope 1 and 2 emissions decreased by 38% compared to the starting year 2021, and product-specific emissions per piece for the entire production chain decreased by 9%. Total emissions decreased by a total of 51%.

Preferred materials increased

The share of Reima apparel styles incorporating preferred materials has increased from under 5% in 2019 to an excellent outcome of 99% in the 2025 collections. This includes styles with a bluesign® approved main material, styles containing recycled or organic fibers, or with RWS certified wool. In addition to this, the share of preferred materials by weight rose to 76% of all materials utilized in all products in 2024.

Tier 1 audits continued

All so called Tier 1 suppliers who produced finished goods for Reima in 2024 have undergone environmental and human rights audits. In this way, Reima continued the 100% audits coverage achieved in 2022 among Tier 1 factories.

Second hand store launched

In late 2024, Reima launched its own Second hand online store in cooperation with Ninyes in Finland. This was a new step towards a circular economy. The online store is integrated into Reima's own online store, which makes it easy to buy both new and used products.

FabPatch collaboration recognised

Reima's collaboration with the Finnish company FabPatch was recognized in 2024 when the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra named it one of the cutting-edge circular economy solutions that support biodiversity and business growth. The cooperation with FabPatch began already in 2021, when Reima stores joined the first wave of retailers to offer FabPatch™ repair patches.
