Rumpus PR – Created: October 2022. The company states: “We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our environmental performance as an integral part of our business strategy and operating methods, with regular review points.” It says it will encourage clients, suppliers and other contacts to do the same.

“We will measure our carbon footprint, seek to achieve annual reductions in our emissions and publicly report our progress annually.”

Paper use and recycling reduced

The company says it will “continue to reduce our use of paper, and maximise recycling of all waste arising from our operations.” It also says it has split recycling into three bins and tracks office waste to reduce it and recycle more.

Rumpus says it will “continue to reduce the need to travel through applying a hybrid working policy and making extensive use of video-conferencing.” It also says working from home is a way to cut carbon emissions.

The company says it will “take account of environmental considerations in the purchasing of all goods and services” and “develop and adopt an Environmentally Preferable Purchasing Policy.” It also says it uses plastic-free and refillable cleaning products and chooses B Corp brands for office supplies.

Rumpus says its Environmental Action Plan and Environmental Policy comprise its Environmental Management System (EMS). “Our EMS is independently certified by Green Small Business. Our certification is maintained through an annual audit carried out independently by Green Small Business.”
