SASB (Sustainability Accounting Standards Board) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2011 to help businesses and investors develop a common language about the financial impacts of sustainability. SASB Standards identify sustainability issues relevant to financial performance across 77 industries, developed with market feedback and based on industry-specific profiles. The standards enable organizations to provide industry-based disclosures about sustainability-related risks and opportunities, connecting businesses and investors on the financial implications of sustainability matters.
