SIDERPERU, officially Empresa Siderúrgica del Perú S.A.A., is a Peruvian steel producer founded in 1956 in Chimbote. Its sustainability profile is closely tied to its use of recycled scrap metal as a main raw material and its circular economy model, with steel described as nearly infinitely recyclable. The company has reported ESG-oriented programs covering environmental care, social responsibility and corporate governance, and it holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications. In 2022, it became the first steel firm in Peru to earn B Corporation certification.
