Sophie Bille Brahe Sustainability Actions

Supplier Code of Conduct

Sophie Bille Brahe ApS is committed to running a responsible & sustainable business. Ensuring that our products are produced under responsible conditions, stands at the core of this commitment. We expect all our partners, suppliers, subcontractors, agents, and other business partners to operate responsibly and act with integrity and fairness in all aspects of their business.

Aligned with due diligence frameworks

The Code of Conduct is aligned with internationally recognised frameworks, including the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and jewellery industry standards such as the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme.

Third-party supplier audits

An important part of this work includes audits conducted by a third-party company and engaging with our suppliers on the audit results to continually improve. All first-tier suppliers must on a yearly basis present and provide us with an updated audit report performed by a validated third-party auditor in accordance with Sedex Smeta, Amfori BSCI, or SA8000.

Materials selection

We select our materials with care, guided by quality, longevity, and an awareness of the environmental and social impacts linked to the resources we use. From luminous freshwater pearls and refined diamonds to recycled gold, each element is chosen for its beauty, integrity, and the story it carries through time.

Climate and nature focus

Nature is both our greatest inspiration and our greatest responsibility. We are committed to understanding and reducing our impact on the natural world, addressing climate change and biodiversity through measurement, action, and long-term improvement across our operations and value chain.

Grievance and whistleblowing

Through our Grievance Procedure and Whistleblower Policy, we enable employees and stakeholders to report issues with confidence, knowing concerns will be handled responsibly, fairly, and with integrity.

Human rights and inclusion

At the heart of everything we do are the people behind our jewellery. We are committed to upholding human rights, fostering integrity and inclusion, and building long-term, respectful relationships across our organisation and value chain, where fairness, dignity, and opportunity shape how we work together.
