At their manufacturing facility in Chiro, Taiwan, STANLEY replaced two electroplating lines with a single highefficiency line. This adjustment resulted in a 78% yearoveryear reduction in chrome waste and an annual reduction of over 13 million gallons of cooling water discharge.
