Reduced air freight

Tala is now carbon neutral on all inbound shipments and has reduced air freight from 10% in FY20 to 1.4% in FY21.

Plastic-free packaging

Today, 100 percent of Tala’s packaging in production is plastic-free. Switching to recyclable materials will save approximately 8,000 kilograms of single-use plastic annually, which is roughly the weight of a standard lorry.

Funded tree planting

Tala has funded the planting of over 130,000 trees across international reforestation projects. We support a diverse range of initiatives, all connected by a focus on community development and long-term environmental impact.

Repairable product design

We create lighting that can be maintained, fixed, and disassembled with ease. This supports circularity and reduces the need for replacement.
