Carbon Neutral status

The initiatives we’ve introduced and the commitments we’ve made have already earned us the status of Carbon Neutral.

Measured 2022 emissions

We worked with Grain Sustainability to calculate our Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions for 2022 using the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Standard. Our total carbon footprint for the year was 706.052 tCO2e.

Funded carbon credits

During the year we funded a range of Greenify projects totalling 724.8 tCO2e in verified carbon credits, effectively offsetting 2.7% more emissions than we measured.

Disclosed through CDP

To demonstrate our commitment to environmental transparency, we have also disclosed our environmental impact through CDP, a global non-profit that runs the world’s leading environmental disclosure platform.

Local community support

We take great pride in supporting our local communities, whether that’s hosting events, raising funds, donating products or making cash donations. We also work with the local council and schools to support students who need experience and advice on entering the world of work.

Employee benefits and training

From a team perspective, we’re committed to their ongoing development, and we also have a thriving apprenticeship programme with 20% of our employees coming through successful placements.
