Certified B Corporation
The Art Pledge is a France-based art marketplace founded in 2021 and active since 2022. It presents itself as a platform for buying art with a social impact model, linking artwork purchases to NGO support and artist-selected causes aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The company states that 10% of the price of any artwork purchased supports an NGO project chosen by the buyer, from projects in 175 countries. It also says it measures and offsets CO2 shipping emissions, includes shipping and tax and duties in pricing, and offers a 360° CSR service for mission-driven corporations. The Art Pledge became a Certified B Corporation in January 2024.
