Tiffany & Co. successfully achieved 99.99% traceability of newly sourced, individually registered diamonds to mine of origin or a supplier’s set of approved mines. It also has 100% traceability of its colored gemstones to their country of origin.

Used electric hybrid vehicles

Tiffany & Co. transferred all daily products between its New Jersey distribution center and The Landmark using 100% electric hybrid vehicles. It says it is focused on reducing the total distance traveled and moving toward lower-emission travel options such as electric vehicles and sustainable fuels.

Increased recycled content in packaging

Tiffany & Co. Blue Boxes and bags were made of more than 76% recycled content. The company says sustainably sourcing materials, maximizing recycled content and eliminating plastic are key to reducing environmental impact and associated GHG emissions.

Worked with suppliers on emissions

Tiffany & Co. partnered with key suppliers on reducing emissions, with approximately 13% of key suppliers committed to a public climate target. It says it is focused on supporting suppliers on their climate journeys to reduce emissions associated with the products and services it procures.

Banned coral jewelry

In 2002, Tiffany & Co. banned the sale of jewelry made from coral.
