Climate Leaders ranking

Corticeira Amorim has been named among the Financial Times Europe’s Climate Leaders 2026, a ranking developed in partnership with data provider Statista that recognises European companies leading progress in greenhouse gas emissions reduction. The company ranked 236th among 600 organisations assessed for their climate performance, based on measurable, verifiable and comparable criteria, including reductions in scopes 1 and 2 emissions.

Cork recovery in Greece

CorkCycle is a circular material infrastructure company enabling the recovery, traceability, and reintegration of natural cork into industrial value chains. It helps hospitality, wine, and packaging businesses turn cork waste into climate and ESG impact, reducing landfill waste and supporting the transition to a low-carbon, circular economy by collecting cork and enabling its recycling into new sustainable materials.

First organized cork collection

CorkCycle says it is Greece’s first organized cork collection & recycling initiative. It also describes a growing hospitality collection network, cork recycled into insulation, construction and clean-tech materials, a proven export & recycling pathway, and measurable environmental impact.
