Tutu du Monde has been a conscious brand since its inception in 2009; each Tutu du Monde garment has embarked on a slow and considered journey from the design stage in Australia to the production in India, always with quality and longevity in mind.

With artisan beading skills being at the core of our designs, each style is hand-crafted by our highly skilled and gifted team in India, with whom we hold a strong and supportive relationship.

The intricacies of our embellishments require slower production schedules and fair wages and considerate use of off-cuts that are transformed into beautiful accessories.

Plastic eliminated in supply chain

In terms of sustainability, we have made a conscious effort to eliminate plastic throughout our supply chain by only using compostable materials for packaging and shipping.

FSC recycled storage boxes

We have also switched to FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified recycled material for our ‘new heavy duty’ storage boxes that are sturdy enough to keep treasures for years.
