Since 2015, Vandemoortele has been committed to sourcing certified sustainable palm oil for own consumer branded products, achieving 99.4% in 2019. The company takes steps to enhance the sustainability of palm oil from farmer to consumer through a standardised approach including a grievance mechanism.
