Vanina Farber is elea Professor of Social Innovation at IMD, where her work focuses on social innovation, social entrepreneurship, impact investing, sustainable finance, and ESG. Her research examines how private capital can be mobilized for impact and how the private sector can embed impact in investment decision-making. She leads the elea Center for Social Innovation, which carries out research on how private, public, and philanthropic actors can collaborate, and on how capital can be deployed at scale for projects with social impact. Her work also includes teaching, case writing, and executive education on impact investing and sustainable finance.
