Vegware is a foodservice packaging company founded in Edinburgh in 2006. Its products are made from renewable, plant-based materials and are designed to be commercially composted with food waste. The company has described itself as the UK’s first and only completely compostable food packaging company and says it combines environmental products with waste management support for a zero waste foodservice sector. Vegware also provides environmental audits and waste-related services, and its products are sold in more than 70 countries.

Foodpanda packaging pledge
Foodpanda’s parent firm Delivery Hero has chosen to work with Novolex’s Eco-Products, as well as German firm Bio-lutions. Foodpanda recently pledged to offer its restaurant partners 10 million units of green packaging by 2022.
