Wallace Cotton describes itself as a luxury lifestyle brand with a sustainable approach to business. Its sustainability journey focuses on natural fibres from renewable sources, careful supplier selection, reducing wastage, and lowering environmental impact across design, materials, packaging and emissions. The company says it aims to produce fewer, more beautiful items with less environmental impact, and it highlights organic cotton, linen, modal and silk among its materials. It has also reduced plastic in packaging, uses FSC certified paper in parts of the business, and works with suppliers whose ethical and environmental values align with its own.

Wallace Cotton Sustainability Actions

Uses natural fibres

Cotton is in our name because we believe in using natural fibres from renewable sources to create our collections. We create as much of our range as possible from organic cotton.

Sources organic cotton

Organic Cotton: We source organic cotton for our beautiful collections, which is kinder on the planet and on our skin. Organic cotton production is free from pesticides, insecticides, herbicides and genetic modification.

Uses sustainable fabrics

Linen is a sustainable fabric choice as it requires little water for its production, is completely biodegradable, is strong, durable and creates bedding and clothing which can last a lifetime. Modal is an eco-friendly, biodegradable fabric made by turning wood pulp into a strong yet soft closed loop cellulose fibre. Silk is a soft and luxurious naturally sourced fibre that is biodegradable.
