The Watch & Jewellery Initiative 2030 (WJI 2030) is a multi-stakeholder action platform dedicated to uniting players across the watch and jewellery value chain to advance climate resilience, preserve resources, and foster inclusiveness.

Developed reporting framework

Together with ESG Book, WJI 2030 developed the Impact Action Journey Framework, a reporting framework that has been piloted amongst members and is designed to support companies in collecting data and reporting on their progress.

Launched Nature Roadmap

On Nature, WJI 2030 launched the Nature Roadmap in June 2024, in consultation with WEF, IUCN, the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, and the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD).

Created Human Rights Navigator

On fostering inclusiveness, WJI 2030 developed a Human Rights Navigator focusing on SMEs. The agenda on Human Rights, gender and DEI is central in this pillar.

Partnered with UN Women

In 2023, WJI 2030 partnered with UN Women to test the gender responsive procurement assessment tool in the industry through a pilot program. Nine members, including Cartier, Gucci, Swarovski, and Monica Vinader, participated.
