Purpose days for volunteering

Everyone at Wild Card receives two purpose days per year, on top of their annual leave to volunteer at a charity or community-based organisation of their choosing. That could be working in a food bank, litter picking, consulting on a comms strategy for a charity or walking the dogs of elderly neighbours.

Wellness Wednesdays

Every Wednesday we down tools and take an extended break for lunch to focus on our wellbeing. That could be a walk along the beach for our Cornish team, a fitness class, some mindful breathing or just time away from screens to reset.

Campaigns for social causes

We work hand in hand with impactful organisations, raising awareness of the incredible work they do to help people and the planet. On the third sector side, we ensured a cohesive oversight of the Safer Streets 4 programme to make the City of Truro a safer place to live, work, and visit.

Support for Women’s Centre Cornwall

We also work closely with The Women’s Centre Cornwall to raise awareness of the charity’s vital services so that women and girls living with the impact of abuse know how to get support. We also get The Women’s Centre Cornwall noticed by funding bodies, sponsors, and businesses so that the charity can keep doing what it does.
