Woolworths Sustainability
Greener thinking for a better tomorrow
Woolworths is committed to creating a greener future, and we are getting there by reducing food waste, reducing plastic, sustainable sourcing, energy efficiency and animal welfare. To make it easier for our customers to continue embracing a greener future, we have introduced a number of initiatives to reduce the amount of plastic in our stores, supported by recycling labelling initiatives, as well as making improvements in energy efficiency, sustainable sourcing and reducing food waste. Whilst we’ve made pleasing progress, we know there is still much more to be done to meet our customers and our own aspirations.
