Sustainability Unlocked was launched in November 2021. It is described as the world’s first video education platform focused solely on sustainability and ESG for business professionals. It offers over 80 interactive sustainability and ESG courses and 400 video modules, covering topics from climate change to governance, biodiversity, and ESG regulation.

Raised Series A funding

In November 2023, xUnlocked announced that it had raised £5 million (USD$6.1 million) through a Series A investment by BPP Education Group. The company said the investment would support its growth and help it produce more sustainability and ESG courses.

Built CPD-accredited portfolio

xUnlocked has a wide portfolio accredited with the CPD Standards Office. Accredited activities include Sustainability Basics for Boards, Sustainability Leadership, Sustainable Governance and Compliance for Boards, Sustainable Supply Chains, Carbon Accounting and Measuring, Climate Change Basics, ESG Essentials, ESG Investing, and Practical Applications of Sustainability for Boards.

xUnlocked publishes sustainability insights on topics including leadership for change, common language in sustainability, and how to embed sustainability across organisations.
