Delivered Moerdijk solar plant

Ardagh Group has partnered with independent solar energy specialist Zoncoalitie, and energy supplier Eneco, to deliver the solar plant at Moerdijk – the second AGP-Europe on-site solar project, and the third in the Netherlands for Ardagh Group. The major solar power plant at its facility in Moerdijk, the Netherlands, is now supplying renewable electricity on-site, to reduce the facility’s carbon footprint by an estimated 725 tonnes of CO2 annually.

Worked on Dutch solar projects

Ardagh Group S.A., inclusive of Ardagh Metal Packaging and Ardagh Glass Packaging, and its renewable energy partners Eneco and Zoncoalitie announced new solar energy in the Netherlands. The project followed the launch of Ardagh’s first solar power plant in the Netherlands, which had been supplying the AGP-Dongen facility since September last year.
