Packaging

Our minimalist packaging keeps everything classy and simple with recycled eco-friendly packaging and promotional materials. Not one piece of plastic is used in our packaging. We use recycled card stocks, papers and stickers, even our Luxe gift boxes are 100% recycled.

Ethically Produced Garments

Production

Farm To Hanger is proudly ethically certified with Ethical Clothing Australia. Farm To Hanger has gone through the process of voluntary accreditation from Ethical Clothing Australia as proof of our commitment to ensuring our supply chain is fully transparent and legally compliant. The ECA program maps a company’s Australian supply chain throughout the entire cut, make and trim process, including all value adding processes. This is done via annual third-party compliance audits conducted by the Textile, Clothing and Footwear Union of Australia (TCFUA).

Evidence

100% Australian Made

Production

Certified 100% Australian Made. From Trace-ability comes Transparency, knowing exactly where your clothing comes from. That meant finding local farmers that are using industry best practices, that use the least amount of water and resources to produce the highest quality raw materials. Our raw materials come from a beautiful sustainable farm in Queensland where they have been doing great work in resource efficiency to get recognised globally for best industry practices. Our textile fabricator is Meriel, coordinating a team from Brisbane, QLD. Our postie's are Jenni and Luke. All our garment construction is now in-house at Daylesford, Victoria. Locally sourcing sustainably grown single origin raw materials, supports your local farmers.

Evidence

One Tree Planted for every garment you buy.

Usage

Your purchase will plant one tree with Greenfleet for every garment you buy, reducing your carbon footprint and our collective impact on the environment. Every garment sold offsets 100% of our carbon emissions and more, meaning you are not adding to climate change, you are helping reverse it.

Utilises recycled textiles & closed loop recycling

Raw Materials

All our textile waste is now divided into three sections, reusable, repurposed and recycled. We reuse scraps to make dog toys for a local charity The rest that can't be reused or repurposed is sent to recycling in Victoria. However, in the last 9 months, we haven't needed to send anything to recycling and continue to work with our textile waste to produce biodegradable compost.

Biodegradable Product

Disposal

For any elastic parts, we use a first-of-its-kind biodegradable elastomer which is blended with infinito® biodegradable polymer yarn and certified Cradle To Cradle - Gold standard. We have a repair and recycle service to reduce your own carbon footprint. But even if you don't recycle your garments, EVERYTHING is biodegradable.
