Climate positive calvados

Avallen calvados is a climate positive spirit made from just three things: Apples, Water, and Time. The amazing apple trees that provide apples for Avallen sequester more carbon than we emit in producing Avallen each year, so every bottle we make represents a small positive step towards tackling the climate emergency.

Bee conservation donations

Avallen says it donates at least 2% of its turnover annually to organisations that work to save its struggling bee populations. It says the orchard bees that pollinate its apple trees, and bumblebees, are important to its ecosystems.

Published Bee More Report

The Avallen Bee More Report is the Calvados producer’s self-publication of its environmental impact from 1 May 2021 to 31 April 2022. The report looks at the firm’s carbon emissions and tree-planting efforts, as well as its bee conservation work.
