Bally Sustainability Actions

Annual sustainability reporting

Since we began our path in 2019, we have strongly believed in the importance of giving evidence of our actions. For this reason, not only we publish our Sustainability Report annually to provide updates on our sustainability journey, but we also provide further information through our website.

Public supplier standards

Our Code of ethics, as well as the Supplier code of conduct and the Restricted substance list which all suppliers must abide by are publicly available. Since 2021, we also publish a list of the main Tier 1 and 2 suppliers that are active in Bally’s supply chain.

Preferred Material List

In 2022, Bally developed a new Preferred Material List, a tool that will support us in choosing materials even more carefully, with the aim of having at least 90% of our materials classified with a preferable attribute – “Preferred” or “Good” - by 2028.

Paper packaging sourcing

In 2022, we proudly sourced responsibly – FSC or PEFC certified and/or recycled – 99% of our paper packaging, signed the fashion industry’s first Collective Virtual Power Purchasing Agreement, and defined our new Preferred Material List.

Customer care services

We also extend the lifecycle of our pieces through customer care and assistance services.

Bally Foundation

Through the Bally Foundation, founded in 2006, we promote contemporary artists with ties to Switzerland, and support cultural innovation expressed through artwork.

Peak Outlook Foundation

In 2020, the Bally Peak Outlook Foundation was established with the aim of helping protect the world’s fragile mountain habitats from the adverse effects of global warming and excessive tourism; the foundation collaborates with numerous projects and organizations.

Support for local organisations

Bally also supports many local organizations such as Il Porto di Coenzo, which empowers people with disabilities.

Through the Bally Employees Resource Group (BERG), we organize activities that bring our employees and the local community together.
