Bulgari Sustainability Commitments
2026
Cut emissions by half
Bulgari said it aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from energy use at its production sites and boutiques by 50% by 2026, compared with 2019 levels. This target is tied to its use of renewable electricity and sits within LVMH’s wider climate plan. The goal covers direct operations and stores, not the full supply chain.
2026
Reach zero virgin plastic
Bulgari said it is contributing to LVMH’s goal of zero virgin plastic by 2026. Virgin plastic means new plastic made from fossil fuels, not recycled material. The brand said it started removing single-use plastics from offices, boutiques, and production sites in 2019 and is sharing internal guidance to support the shift.
2026
Add product traceability IDs
Bulgari said it plans to create a dedicated identification system on all new products by 2026. The aim is to make materials easier to trace, similar to the tracking already used for gold. This would help the brand follow raw materials through the supply chain and support due diligence, which means checking for risks such as poor labour or sourcing practices.
2030
Support Forestami tree planting
Bulgari said it will help finance Forestami, an urban reforestation project that aims to plant 3 million trees in Milan by 2030. The brand also said it wants to support similar habitat work around its Valenza site. This is a nature-focused commitment linked to wider land restoration goals inside LVMH.
2030
Back habitat restoration goals
Bulgari said its work with Forestami contributes to LVMH’s goal of regenerating or rehabilitating 5 million hectares of wildlife habitat by 2030. Hectares are a land measure, and this target is about restoring damaged ecosystems. The commitment is part of the group’s wider environmental roadmap.
