Divert 25 million pounds of waste

Chick-fil-A says it plans to divert 25 million pounds of restaurant food waste from landfills by 2025. It says this will come from food donations, composting, and other waste-diversion efforts. Independent coverage said the company had already diverted 22 million pounds since 2020, which put it at about 88% of the target at the time reported.
