Duluxgroup Sustainability Commitments
2025
30% recycled packaging target
DuluxGroup has set a target to reach 30% recycled content in total packaging by 2025. Recycled content means packaging made partly from material that has already been used before. The company says this is a priority across its businesses and depends on getting suitable recycled materials, packaging suppliers, and product testing right.
2030
Cut Scope 1 and 2 emissions
The company has set a target for its Pacific businesses to cut greenhouse gas emissions from Scope 1 and 2 by 50% by 2030. Scope 1 means direct emissions from things the company owns or controls, like fuel burned on site. Scope 2 means emissions from purchased electricity. It also aims for 50% renewable electricity by 2030.
2030
Use more renewable electricity
DuluxGroup plans to source 50% renewable electricity by 2030 for its Pacific businesses. Renewable electricity comes from sources like solar or wind rather than fossil fuels. The company says this will be supported by site energy efficiency work, solar installations, power purchase plans, and fleet changes.
2050
Reach net zero emissions
DuluxGroup has set a net zero target for 2050 for its Pacific businesses. Net zero means cutting emissions as much as possible and balancing any remaining emissions with removals or offsets. The company says it has already started planning and rolling out actions to support this goal.
