EyeCare is an eyecare business, and the sustainability content available for the brand is limited. The material provided focuses mainly on broader eyecare-sector ESG themes, including environmental impact, responsible consumption, and climate action. It also references sustainability activity in the eyecare industry such as recycling, waste reduction, and lower-emission logistics. Where the brand itself is described, the content points to eyecare services and products rather than a detailed sustainability programme. No clear company-specific sustainability report, targets, or formal commitments were identified for EyeCare itself.

Sustainable retail certification

On May 5 2025, Spectrum Eyecare was awarded the Synesgy Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Certificate through its parent company, Leong Lee International. The certificate assessed performance across Environmental, Social, and Governance pillars using methodologies aligned with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Spectrum Eyecare said it earned an ESG score of 85% and a “B – Good” rating.

Recycled and biodegradable materials

When Spectrum opened its flagship store in Thao Dien, it prioritised the use of recycled and biodegradable materials. It also said it curates eyewear from brands that prioritise sustainable materials and ethical production, and that its accessories are designed to minimise waste while it explores ways to minimise its environmental footprint across packaging, logistics, and day-to-day operations.
