Bio-circular Croslite milestone

Crocs announced it had reached 25% bio-circular content in its proprietary Croslite material. Croslite accounts for more than 80% of Crocs' total materials used across its portfolio of products, including the Classic Clog. The company said this marks a milestone in its sustainability journey and its approach to reducing its carbon footprint through sustainable materials.

Reduced emissions in 2023

As a direct result of this initiative, in 2023, Crocs saw a 3% reduction in absolute emissions in its overall company carbon footprint, as well as a 6.1% reduction in emissions per pair of Classic Clogs compared to its 2021 baseline.

Closed retail accounts

Crocs has already closed over 600 Heydude retail accounts and shifted the brand’s distribution focus from largely small mom-and-pop shops to larger strategic partners that include family footwear and sporting goods chains. Additionally, an unspecified number of digital retailers have been stripped of their rights to the Heydude brand.
