Developed inclusive governance tools

In collaboration with Pro Mujer and Deetken Impact –as part of the Ilu Women’s Empowerment Program financed by USAID – we developed a set of tools for Ilu Toolbox lens “Integrated and Inclusive Governance & Women Leadership”. To enable companies to: EvAssess – in a cross-cutting manner – the current governance status regarding gender integration in its various interventions – internally and externally – and among its different stakeholders. Design an action plan to implement a gender perspective integrated governance. Within the project, we also conducted trainings for more than 15 Latin American companies from Ecuador, Guatemala, Haiti, Mexico and Peru (among other countries).

Advised on impact financing

Through a three sprints consultancy developed in alliance with Acrux, we assisted Naranja X’s Social Innovation team in designing the social innovation strategy impact financing pillar. To this end: We conducted a benchmark to analyze the relevance given by the fintech sector in Latin American to certain impact matters, identifying sustainable and impact finance existing opportunities. We trained Naranja X’s business areas leaders, products, and finance on sustainable and impact investing, on how to integrate ESG (environmental, social and governance) factors into investment products development, and on the different tools available for channelling those investments.

Supported Nanum connectivity centers

At Keidos we provided our legal services to the Nanum connectivity centers, integrating our triple impact approach: Designing the legal framework for the Nanum model development for it to implement and provide internet connectivity services in the Gran Chaco region. Training and accompanying the technical teams and referents of the Nanum connectivity centers. Developing a self-application manual for the systematization of the Nanum connectivity center.

Built sustainable procurement tool

Keidos, together with Franco De Pasquale and Idom, developed this tool for the Inter-American Network on Government Procurement -OAS Technical Secretariat , whose purpose is to promote the implementation of sustainable public procurement through the recognition of market capacities. Supported IDB procurement strategy

As part of a consultancy process on sustainable public procurement (“SPP”) we accompanied the IDB in the development of: Its SPP strategy for its promotion both at the national systems’ level and the IDB operations. Training workshops for IDB executing teams and procurement agencies in Caribbean countries. Communication of the results and impacts of the actions and initiatives implemented. A toolkit to integrate in a practical way through an internal use platform, the materials, guides, manuals and tools created by the IDB to support the implementation of SPP.

Consulted on sustainable supply chain

We accompanied Genneia through a consultancy process organized in 3 stages, to deepen the development of a sustainable supply chain. The work focused on 4 aspects: Identify opportunities for improvement in internal policies and documents linked to the development of a sustainable supply chain. Strategically align supply chain’s development with the Sustainable Development Goals that guide Genneia’ decisions and operations. Integrate sustainability criteria into procurement and contracting processes. Map Genneia’s suppliers. Some of the results of this consultancy were: A recommendations report highlighting the opportunities and strengths together with a roadmap to work on sustainability and Human Rights in the supply chain. The development of Genneia’s inclusive procurement policy. A self-diagnosis designed to know the sustainable performance of suppliers and identify the practices they are currently developing. The drafting of sustainability clauses: general, environmental, social and Human Rights.
