Lylou the label is an Australian womenswear label founded by Soraya Bozzetto. Its sustainability position is centred on slow fashion, plant-based fabrics, and natural fibres. The brand states that its garments are made exclusively with plant-based fabrics such as linen, bamboo, cupro, tencel and hemp, and that its packaging is biodegradable. It describes itself as 100% plastic-free, biodegradable and vegan, and says its products are ethically made in Indonesia with slow production schedules, fair wages and a low carbon footprint. The brand also says it aims to raise awareness of microplastic pollution caused by synthetic clothing.

Next collection materials

We are currently creating the next collection and are in love with the contrast of Australian White, green and Earthy brown Clay colours. We are carefully handpicking sumptuous plant-based silky fabric as well as hemp, and organic cotton which we will use in our next collection.

Continue sustainable designs

Our plan is to continue to create sustainable plant-based designs while drawing on the feminine circle of creativity, sensuality and expression.
