Launched Suppliers ESG module

WayCarbon announced the new Suppliers ESG Management module of the WayCarbon Ecosystem platform. The launch allows buyer companies to identify gaps and opportunities, supporting suppliers’ evolution on the sustainability journey. The module is part of the WayCarbon Ecosystem, a multimodular digital platform that supports organizations of different sectors and sizes in managing issues on the climate and sustainability agenda.

Partnered with Globo

WayCarbon partnered with Globo to deliver Climas, an Integrated Climate and ESG Management software. The implementation process began in November 2022 and was completed in the first half of 2023. The software is used to consolidate ESG indicators, manage greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption, and respond to GRI and SASB reports.

Supported Santa Casa BH

Santa Casa BH signed a partnership for the management of greenhouse gas emissions with WayCarbon and adopted the WayCarbon Ecosystem platform. The institution said it created an ESG commission, carried out a diagnosis and materiality exercise, and identified the challenge of carrying out its first emissions inventory and managing ESG indicators.

Acquired by Santander

In 2022, WayCarbon was acquired by Banco Santander Spain. Santander said the deal would further enhance its environmental, social and governance expertise and help it support customers in their energy transition. WayCarbon said the agreement would expand its global scale and increase its impact.
