BONITA’s sustainability-related content is limited and appears mainly through references to broader ESG and climate discussions associated with the name. The material mentions supplier engagement on Scope 3 emissions, the role of SMEs in enabling the green shift across value chains, and sustainability reporting aligned with international standards in the Philippines. It also includes references to sustainability leadership in retail, manufacturing, and board governance, including the use of more sustainable materials and support for electric vehicle infrastructure. No clear company-specific sustainability policy, reporting framework, or operational ESG programme for BONITA itself is provided in the source content.

BONITA Sustainability Actions

Supplier engagement on Scope 3

If you haven’t yet, please consider inviting your suppliers to join. Especially with Scope 3 emissions, SMEs play a critical role in enabling the green shift across value chains. Building their capabilities is essential to achieving meaningful and scalable climate action.

Green Shift SME coaching

Green Shift is a joint initiative by United Nations ESCAP and Temasek Foundation, supporting SMEs to accelerate their green transition and strengthen sustainable supply chains across South-East Asia. In the Philippines, the programme is implemented in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry and the Philippine Trade Training Center.

Sustainability reporting alignment

The Philippines is strengthening its sustainability reporting regime, through latest moves to align its standards with guidelines provided by the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB). Implementation will take place through three phases, commencing in FY 2026, with full adoption from FY 2028-2030, depending on the classification of the reporting entity.
